About Us​

At Haystack Homestead we’re more than just a farm — we’re also a sanctuary dedicated to animal care, education, and community. Many of our animals are rescues, while others were born and raised here. Some of our farm animals are available for sale, and we sometimes responsibly rehome animals surrendered to Serendipity Sanctuary.

By booking our Traveling Farm Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, or other services, you’re supporting a local, women-owned and operated farm business that dedicates much of its profits to funding Serendipity Sanctuary, a North Carolina non-profit and registered 501(c)(3). Inspired and co-managed by Elysian (Mimi) and founded by Michele, Haystack Homestead is both a farm and a mission, committed to providing lifelong farm animal care and unforgettable, convenient, farm animal experiences for our community.
