The cost of hosting an alpaca at your party is $135 - This enchanting experience is for a 30 minute session. Additional time can be added during the booking process. This price includes guest visit by 1 alpaca (though we usually will bring a bonded pair of 2), transportation*, a token keepsake, and 2 experienced handlers to assist with alpacas. interact with guests as needed, and answer questions. Bookings available Monday - Friday year round.
*We are located in Mount Airy North Carolina – just South of the Virginia border – a scenic drive from both Winston-Salem and Greensboro NC. *Transportation up to 100 miles round trip is included! If the round trip distance exceeds 100 miles round trip please give us a call as there is a slight extra charge for additional mileage expense. (Charge of $0.85 per mile for round trip miles over 100.)

Cancellation Policy: At Haystack Homestead, the safety of our clients and animals is our top priority. While we do not offer refunds, events cancelled due to inclement weather can be rescheduled within a 6-month period at no additional cost. We will work with you to find a mutually convenient time to ensure your event is safe and delightfully memorable.
